The four guys of Brand New have had a stellar fall. Their success started with the release of their fourth album, Daisy – which sold close to 50K first week out, debuted at # 6 on the Billboard 200 and had SPIN raving, saying “the sound is old-fashioned but the fury is fresh.”

New York, NY – Brand New announce the release of their new full-length album, Daisy, out September 22^nd 2009 on the band’s own Procrastinate Music Traitors, in partnership with DGC/Interscope.  The band also excitedly reveals the details for a homecoming event featuring a headlining performance at Nassau Coliseum on November 27^th in Uniondale, NY.  The band will be joined by a slew of distinguished guest artists they handpicked to share this special occasion with them including a performance by friends and fellow Long Islanders’ Glassjaw.  Playing the Coliseum is a true homecoming for these four young men who grew up in the area and spent their formative years watching countless concerts and hockey games at this very venue.

Dates Mark First String of Performances Across the Atlantic For 2009

Brand New are embarking on a string of European shows this June and marking their first jaunt across the Atlantic for 2009. The band, who have been holed up working on their fourth studio full-length, will headline these shows and perform at the Glastonbury Festival allowing fans the special opportunity to see them live for the first time this year.  Below is a complete list of European dates.

Dear Friends,

The combination of the holidays and the inclement weather has set a bit of

nostalgia upon me. Remember when we used to give you updates more often?

Anyway…

It has come to my attention that Brand New has basically been off tour for
almost a year now. So here is your annual festive goings on:

We have all been in the studio on and off since about March. The
convenience of recording around the corner has been great, but sometimes a little too comfortable setting. During 2008, we have rounded up some some pre-pro, some real-pro,and some semi-pro material. There are about 15 songs for us to play around with and it seems as though things are winding down and in the final stages.

We cannot exactly tell you when this record will be done, but we can tell
you that the new year will bring a bit more excitement from our side of things. We are fully aware of how long we were gone last time, and are not planning on staying home much longer.

Perhaps when it gets a bit warmer out…we will begin to introduce a new website that will bring you endless amounts of entertaining information. We have also talked about playing some new music together.Outside of the dungeon.

Which means maybe….…YOU will be able to listen to some of our new music also. maybe.

Until then, we wanted to let everyone know that we are alive and well.

Still writing, recording, and frustrated with the lack of blood in

mortal kombat vs. dc.
